Lara Wetlands is a working cattle station situated between Blackall & Barcaldine. After quite a long drive down a dirt driveway you suddenly arrive at the Wetlands which are fed from the onsite artesian bore. It was an interesting drive from Thargomindah to Cunnamulla and we stopped about halfway at Eulo for a look around at the opal shop. We all bought some rocks of some sort and continued on our way to Warrego Riverside Tourist Park where we luckily jagged a powered site for 2 nights without a booking.
