Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour/Home

Left Lane Cove Caravan Park today.  Would definately stay there again – it’s like being in the bush when you’re actually in the middle of Sydney.

Drove through to Coffs Harbour today.  7 hours driving, with only 1 toilet stop at a servo when we got fuel and a 20 minute lunch break.  “Captain Gottagetthere” strikes again!. 🙂

Checked into Park Beach Holiday Park . Great campsite close to camp kitchen and with an Ensuite. Hooray!!!

Awesome pizza from the local pizza shop at the Plaza for dinner.

The kids love the pool!  2 waterslides, a pirate ship, water cannons and crystal fountains.  2 hours swimming in the morning and another swim after the beach in the afternoon.

The beach was lovely and right near a creek for an exploring walk with Dad.  Lots of shell and rock collecting.

The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow too.

Last day in Coffs today.  We’re all ready to go home.

Another pool swim then a visit to the Jetty.

Had a look at a Torpedo on display outside  Australian Navy Cadets facility at the jetty.  The Teddys were feeling adventurous.

Coffs Harbour.

After the beach we went souvenir shopping with the kids. Amy choose Fairy Magic books instead of the puppet from Sydney.  Both kids bought croc souvenirs from the park office.   I think the last of their trip money was burning a whole in their pockets.

Fantastic dinner (Amy’s make up birthday tea) at the Deep Sea Fishing Club.  Great food, awesome views, lovely staff. Wish it was closer to home so we could go there again.

Big storm in the night last night. We now know that the camper doesn’t leak.

Heading home today. Last drive past the Big Banana.

5 hour drive, should be home a bit after lunch. Brisvegas here we come!

What a great trip we’ve had!!!!! Can’t wait for the next one. 🙂
